A comment on comments

Due to a recent onslaught of spammers, I have taken a few measures to contain comment spam. On the upside, comments are no longer moderated beforehand, so your comments will appear immediately after you post them. The downside is that my current trick involves cookies, so you probably can't post any comment at all if your browser rejects them (and if have cookies enabled but JavaScript disabled, you can still post comments, but you will have a captcha to fill in).

I consider the reliance on cookies to be a bug, but I don't really have the time to fix it right now. This site doesn't do anything mischievous with cookies, but if you are reluctant to accept them, you can alway send me comments through the feedback form.

On a less technical note, I must apologize for not taking the time to reply to your many kind remarks this past week.

Hi mt-i, this is Scott from Stumbling through Japanese! Thanks so much for your helpful comments on my blog! I was very surprised to see your comment since not very many people knew about it in the first place and I just put it back up.
